Promotion of Blue Flag in Montenegro

Today, at the Adriatic Fair Budva, organized by the Public Enterprise for Coastal Zone Management, there was held the promotion of Blue Flags in Montenegro.

The guests were greeted by Sandra Radulovic, PR Manager of Public Enterprise for Coastal Zone Management, while Saša Krajović, national coordinator of the Association for environmental consulting in Montenegro (Ecom) spoke about the campaign of Blue Flag.

The Blue Flag Programme is implemented in Montenegro since 2003. , when the NGO Ecom became an associate member of the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) and thereby acquired the right to be a national operator for Montenegro.
The program's success is reflected, among other things, the number of Blue Flags awarded in Montenegro: 6 in 2004, 10 in 2005, 15 in 2006., 20 in 2007, 18 in 2008, 19 in 2009. and 2010.
In the past 7 years, both in the pilot phase and in the campaign, attended by more than 40 beaches.

Which beaches in Montenegro, this year will carry a characteristic Blue Flags will be known by in early of May.
The Blue Flag means the fulfillment of the 32 criteria.
All the Blue Flags are awarded for one season.
