The Opening Ceremony of the 4th ART EXPO

The 4th ART EXPO has been ceremonly opened. Mr. Rajko Bujković ,Executive Manager of the Adriatic Fair , welcomed the guests and the fair was inaugurated by Mr.Igor Rakcevic, a painter and The President of the Association of Artists of Montenegro.

- It seems that the 4th edition of the Art Expo has been most dynamic structure that could be expected given the enthusiasm and commitment of the organizers and participants. Proverbially rich art exhibition activity , this year has been updated with innovative approaches to the exhibitor as the performance of the Faculty of Fine Arts from Cetinje and the School of Visual Arts in Podgorica.
The traditional exhibition of Association of Fine Artists of Montenegro, which is the backbone of the Fair, is now richer for more one selction of the younger members called POSTOJANJA -BECAMINGS, said Mr. Rakcevic, by this opening opportunity.

He recommends visitors to visit the numerous promotions and lectures such as "Coast of Montenegro during the rule of Venice 1420 - 1797" organized by the Maritime Museum in Kotor, and "Conservation and restoration of works of art’’, organized by the Regional Institute for Protection of Cultural Monuments of Kotor.

The Book ‘’The Churches and Monasteries of Pastrovici - wall paintings " will be presented by Ms.Lucija Đurašković, art historian and Mr. Sasa Čilikov, PhD as well as the additional curiosities will be achieved in programs dealing with culture in a broader context.

The fair is open until the 1st of June and exhibiting hours are from 6pm till 11 pm.
