Presentation of "Food Security"

Today, at the Adriatic Fair, in the frame of the 36th International Food Fair, there was held the presentation "food security", organized by the Veterinary Administration of Montenegro - Podgorica.

Mr. Ivan Popovic, director of the Veterinary Administration of Montenegro, and Biljana Blečić, a veterinary inspector talked on the presentation.

The production of safe food requires the establishment, implementation and ongoing maintenance of HACCP systems. The experience of highly developed countries have shown that common rules are needed for food security and integrated control of food thus creating conditions for food trade in the domestic and international business markets without barriers, providing a high level of protection of public health and protecting the rights and meet consumer expectations.
