5th ART EXPO IS OPEN

 

Tonight, at the Adriatic Fair, the 5th ART EXPO has been opened. The fair was opened by Mr. Ljubomir Popadic, painter and the President of the Association of Artists of Tivat and a member of the Association of Artists of Montenegro.

- When we have mentioned five years ago for the first time the need to organize the Art Expo at the Adriatic Fair in Budva, Mr. Rajko Bujkovic and several of us have dreamed of just what we have today.

We hoped that the Art Expo would become an event to experience the fifth anniversaries as well as those who come after these.
Considering that without attracting attention and under its platform, the Art Expo will show what is currently the best and most used in the field of visual arts, as well as in the field of publishing, in the programs offered by the antiquarians and those who would expose these days in terms of ART-EXPO.

As every year until now the backbone of the fair remains the presentations of their annual exhibitions of the members of Association of Artists of Montenegro
Always interesting because this time the artists would like to see their desire to be "new" topical, interesting and provocative, engaged and ready, but primarily to show the best light.

This year a significant event in the organization of the Maritime Museum of Montenegro from Kotor, is the presentation of multimedia and exhibition of pictures, 100 pictures of Boka Navy from 1861. to 1961., where it attempted to portray the history of shipping in this period, but in a modern way and that we are already accustomed to from this renowned museum its backing of the project is several years.

Also it will be interesting exhibition and art auction of the ‘’ Gallery Castello di Boka" where we can see authors who have taught art to other areas.

It is also a precious rarity and this year's presentation of "Newly discovered murals in the Cathedral of St.. Tryphon in Kotor’’.
The organizer is the Regional Bureau for the Protection of Cultural Monuments of Kotor.

From publishing activities within the ART EXPO, I personally extract the presentation of the novel "The White Raven" - a novel about an imaginary library in a few readings or the diary of Djurdje Crnojevic.

For this presentation care of Central National Library of Montenegro "Djurdje Crnojevic"-Cetinje.
Another no less important event and under what we mean when we say publishing is the "Special edition of publishing house Grigorije Dijak ‘’.

After all this items, for this time of crisis, I have to say with respectable turnout of exhibitors concluded that ART EXPO not only survives, but becomes in our wider region the most important events for collecting art creators and those people who loves art and gives support to it.

For this achievement we have to thank above all the fair administration and all those who have supported us to become what we see today, concluded Mr. Popadić.
